About Us

My Name is Cory Clu Phillips and I live in May, Texas with my beautiful wife, Jaclyn, and our five children. I started Phillips Industries in 2010 when the economy made it difficult to find a decent job. I loved the thought of being my own boss and shaping the hill country into a more beautiful place. I began humbly; with only one chainsaw and one trailer, I started cutting cedar from local ranches and hauling it to the mill. While that turned out to be pretty profitable over time, my vision was much bigger. With hard work, sheer determination, and God leading the way, my vision became my reality. My passion is to transform properties into something more usable and valuable, while enhancing its natural beauty in the process.
